A fundraising campaign launched by Shenley Parish Council (SPC) has led to a proliferation of patriotic sentiment amongst local pets.
Dog and cat owners are invited to buy a Union Jack bandana as part of the campaign to raise funds for the Sir Richard Cox charity ahead of the 80th anniversary of D-Day on June 6.
The handmade bandanas are available from the Tea Room and Snaffle Shack for £5.
A host of events is being organised to mark the occasion, including a picnic at Shenley Park.
