Sir Mike Penning MP is glad to announce that the Apsley Paper Trail is set to receive a grant of £210,800 through the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund.
The Secretary of state for digital, culture, media and sport recently announced a £1.57bn rescue package through the Culture Recovery Fund.
This will help support the culture sector and heritage organisations during the current pandemic.
Sir Mike MP said: “This is excellent news for the Apsley Paper Trail.
“The past few months have undoubtedly been very challenging for the heritage and culture sector and I know that this funding will help to ensure that this important piece of local, and indeed national, history is preserved for future generations to enjoy.”
More than £67m have been shared out among 433 successful applicants to help with key repair and maintenance work, and help sites operate and recover.
