Published on: 9th May 2022   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

Officers have released CCTV images of two people who might be able to help their enquiries following an incident of criminal damage in Abbots Langley.

At around 5.30pm on Sunday, May 1, rocks were thrown at a house in Hazelbury Avenue, smashing two double glazed windows and a door panel window. A brick was also thrown at the windscreen of a Mercedes.

The three offenders are believed to have made off towards the direction of Gallows Hill where they then got into a black Volvo.

PC Radu Vernica, who is investigating, said: “We believe the two people pictured were in the area at the time of the incident and they could have vital information about what happened.

“I appreciate they are not the clearest images, however I am hopeful that somebody might recognise them from their clothing.

“If you recognise them, or have information yourself about what happened, please get in touch by calling the non-emergency number 101 or email me at radu.vernica@herts.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/34325/22.”

You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report or speak to an operator in the Force Communications Room via the online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact.

Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
