Sopwell House is set to put on a show this Mother’s Day (Sunday, March 15), with a sparkling Champagne Afternoon Tea accompanied by a live rendition of Elton John classics, or a hearty Sunday Roast for the whole family to enjoy.

Champagne Afternoon Tea with Elton John Tribute
For mums who cannot resist a Tiny Dancer sing-along, Sopwell House is hosting a live Elton John tribute performance complete with patisserie and champagne.
Taking place in the impressive St Alban Suite from 1pm-4pm with 45-minute entertainment sets starting at 1.30pm and 2.35pm, the afternoon promises a soundtrack of show-stopping hits.

Mother’s Day Sunday Roast
Sundays are made for roasts and Sopwell House is pulling out all the stops with a delicious three-course lunch served between 12.30pm-3pm.
Set within The Brasserie, begin with light bites of Chicken liver & foie gras parfait or Crayfish and prawn cocktail, followed by mains of Stone bass; Roast chicken supreme; or a traditional Sunday carvery with all the favourites.
Roast options include 28 day aged Hereford beef; Cornish lamb leg; or Old spot pork belly, all served with truffle cauliflower cheese, savoy cabbage and leeks, crispy yet fluffy duck-fat roasties, Yorkshire puddings and plenty of gravy.
