Kings Langley residents took to social media recently after many were alarmed by a burglary which took place in the village.
One resident posted online to alert others of the burglary which took place on the old Rudolf Steiner School site.
The police confirmed they are currently investigating the incident.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “Police are investigating an incident of burglary and criminal damage that happened in Kings Langley.
“At around 11.30pm on Friday (14 May) offender(s) gained access to the Rudolf Steiner School site, Langley Hill by damaging a fire door.
“Fire extinguishers were then let off inside.”
