Millions of people are set to head to the polling stations today to vote in the local elections across the UK.
Hertfordshire voters have the chance to vote in this year’s local elections, with seats on councils including Three Rivers District Council, St Albans City & District, Watford Borough Council up for grabs.
Watford residents will also have the chance to vote in the Watford Mayoral elections with incumbent Elected Mayor Peter Taylor standing for the Liberal Democrats, Benita Mehta-Parmar standing for the Conservative Party and Asif Khan standing for the Labour Party.
Polling stations are set to close at 10pm with results expected tomorrow.
