Admins of The Stanmore Group on Facebook have designed a calendar with help from the community to raise money for local charity St Luke’s.
During the first lockdown, admins of the group hosted photography competitions which were very well received, which led to the idea of creating a calendar with photos contributed from group members.
Ilana ‘Wermuth’ Metzger, creator of The Stanmore Group, said the quality of photos received was fantastic.
She said: “The feedback was very positive, and we thought it would give people the incentive to go out and take some nice photos and we got loads.
“If anyone is thinking about buying a gift for a loved one, think about spending £8.50 because you’re doing a double, getting a gift for someone and donating to charity.”
Ilana wanted to thank Shreya Shah who put the calendar together and worked to get as many photos as she could in the calendar.
The calendars are on sale from the Natural Health Options shop on the Broadway and are priced at £8.50 each.
