Police, ambulances and fire engines were called to Winton Drive this morning (September 1), after reports of a car speeding and colliding with parked cars.
Reports have come in that the car driving down Girton Way into Winton Drive had collided with six other parked ones, and taken down a tree and a lamp post in its path.
One resident said: “Hope the person driving loses their right to drive for a long time. And really hope there is no fatal or life changing injuries.”
A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to Winton Drive, Croxley Green at 6.35am today (September 1), to reports a car collided with a number of stationary vehicles in the street. Fire and ambulance also attended the scene, and the road has been closed.
“The passenger of the vehicle has been injured and taken to hospital.”
