Published on: 2nd January 2024   |   By: Panayiota Demosthenous   |   Category: Uncategorized

A Hemel Hempstead-based charity is hosting a support day for those concerned about the rising cost of living.

The event is being hosted by the South Hill Centre and can be attended virtually on Zoom, or in person at the South Hill Centre, Cemetery Hill, between 10am and 2pm on Friday, January 26. If you’re unable to attend via Zoom from home, you can visit The Roundhouse, Marlowes, where advisors will be on hand to help.

Attendees will be able to join the session and get information from groups and charities on services available to help them. Those attending the event include Citizens Advice, Dacorum Borough Council, Money Advice Unit, Mediation Hertfordshire, Community Action Dacorum, DENS, Christians Against Poverty, and Dacorum Community Trust.

Jeremy Keeley, operations and development manager at the South Hill Centre, told HEMELnews: “It will be a non-threatening, relaxed environment, where you can find out what help you can get. There is so much support out there.”

To join the session remotely, please use this Zoom link: bit.ly/3NzPKNt. The Zoom meeting ID is 658 137 048 and passcode is 150800.
