A Pinner museum has been listed as one of London’s top 20 small museums.
The Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner is often reported on in PINNERnews for its whimsical exhibitions, community projects, and ever-changing cycle of installations.
Now, the local museum has reached new heights after featuring in an article by The Guardian earlier this month, detailing the best small museums in London.
The museum, which opened in 2016, is dedicated to artist, illustrator and social commentator William Heath Robinson, who lived in Pinner.
The article states: “I’ve gone for this gem dedicated to the crackpot mind of local Heath Robinson, an artist who devised joyfully convoluted contraptions.”
Speaking to PINNERnews, museum manager Lucy Smith said: “We are delighted to have been included in The Guardian’s guide to London’s best small museums. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our museum to discover the witty work of William Heath Robinson.”
