Bushey Festival is returning to the town with more than 35 different events over a 10-day run.
The events will be run by local community organisations, businesses and faith organisations. Events include various trails, quizzes, art exhibitions, a dog show, comedy performances, an organ recital, and more.
The finale event as always is the Festival in the Park in King George Recreation Ground. There will be live music all day on the main stage, and this year’s headliners are 80s synth band Solarzone.
There will be new original acts on the Bowling Club Stage and a special set by the ever-popular Bushey Ukes. This year, the new dance tent will feature Denis Cook spinning tunes all afternoon. There will also be a community market, children’s funfair, a visiting fire engine, food stalls and bars.
Bushey Festival is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and there is still time to get involved. Volunteers are needed on the bar, assisting stallholders and performers, setting up the site, litter picking and collecting donations. To find out more, email bushey.festival@outlook.com
