Increased traffic and parking problems in Bushey are making residents feel they “constantly have to deal with stress”.
Residents have shared their concerns over various utility works and issues with parking on The Avenue, Rudolph Road and Elstree Road.
Sajeda told Busheynews: “It has been taking exceedingly longer to get anywhere; there seem to be construction works everywhere.
“The route to my child’s school should be around five minutes but it now takes nearly half an hour.
“It feels the council is trying to make life difficult and not investing in actual infrastructure.”
On social media, residents revealed their concerns about parking with Busheynews.
One resident commented: “I’ve come to the assumption that people do not give a damn about others anymore.”
Bushey Park councillor Maxie Allen said: “The chaos and disruption could be reduced if Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) was tougher on the utility firms, made them finish on time, and planned the works more efficiently.”
HCC has been contacted for comment.
