Two members of staff at Little Green Junior School in Croxley have launched a new podcast, aimed at celebrating their beloved school.
The first episode of Classroom Chatter was released on Spotify on January 24. Office administrator Sacha Langton and Year 4 teacher Daniella Muckell look forward to “opening the school up to the wider community of parents and former pupils” through their innovative project.
Sacha said: “The idea is just to share the events happening around the school and the different perspectives held by members of our community. The school’s 75th anniversary is in June and we want to use it as an opportunity to celebrate, look back at memories and just get everyone involved.”
Daniella added: “We’ve been getting together during lunch breaks. We’re hoping that if parents grant permission, we might be able to get pupils involved, too.”
Headteacher Duncan Roberts said: “We’re really excited about the positive impact this could have on the school.”
