Kings Langley Cricket Club have launched the registration for their All Stars teams and are looking forward to welcoming faces old and new.
This follows the government announcement from Prime Minister Boris Johnson allowing outdoor sports to take place from March 29.
Tom Templeton, committee member of Kings Langley Cricket Club, said with the help of a grant the club are ready to welcome back players, and registration for the teams has gone live.
He said: “The club has just been awarded a grant from Sport England that will allow us to buy the kit we need to get all the Junior and Senior players practising in smaller groups – when restrictions allow.
“The All Stars (five- to eight-year-olds) registration has just gone live and we will be running U9’s, U10, U11 and U13 junior sides.
“The senior section is really keen to start playing. We have attracted 15 new players and have plans for a number of midweek matches to supplement the three sides we have in the Herts League.”
