Bestselling authors and TV detectives will make their way to Gerrards Cross for the Chiltern Kills festival on Saturday, October 5.
The event, which takes place from 9am to 11pm, will feature around 60 authors on the Poirot and Marple stages at Colston Hall, East Common.
Authors Sir Ian Rankin OBE, Jeffrey Archer and Peter James will be joined by TV detectives Dempsey and Makepeace. The cast of The Bill will also be in attendance.
This will be the festival’s second year and once again all ticket sales will be going to Centrepoint, the UK’s biggest youth homelessness charity.
Sir Ian Rankin said: “Centrepoint is a very special charity whose work is – sadly – more necessary than ever. I am pleased to be able to support them.”
The founders of the festival, authors Paul Waters and Tony Kent, shared in a joint message: “What makes Chiltern Kills special is that authors and fans all mingle together off-stage in our luxury food village, our WhoDunHim Inn – where famous authors will be pulling pints – and at our famous Murder A Song karaoke at the end of the day.”
