Kings Langley FC have vowed “we’ll be back” after their relegation was confirmed.
On Saturday, April 28, Leverstock Green won 3-1 to AFC Dunstable, leaving the team with 39 points, just one point more than Kings Langley in the Southern League Division One Central. This sadly confirmed the village club’s relegation.
KINGSnews caught up with the club to see how they plan on keeping their eye on the ball for success in the next season.
A Kings Langley FC spokesperson said: “While the disappointment of relegation hurts, we’ve used the last few weeks to reflect as a club. It’s been a challenging season, and although the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, we are determined to put things right, and both the manager and the chairman have been working flat out ever since to put things in place for preseason and beyond.
“Our focus now is on learning from this experience and building a foundation to come back stronger. Kings Langley FC has always been about community and resilience, and that spirit will guide us forward.”
