Councillors and residents in Chalfont St Giles were celebrating at the weekend after they were named the best kept village in Buckinghamshire with a population over 3000 at the weekend.
On September 15, parish chairman Cllr Gordon Patrick received the Pushman Cup from Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher for the Best Kept Village in Buckinghamshire with a population over 3000.
This is the fifth time that the village has won the prestigious cup with a score of 93/100.
Cllr Patrick thanked the councillors, staff and parishioners who had helped with the village clean-up which had contributed to the high marks received.
The cup will be displayed in Chalfont St Giles Community Library on the High Street in Chalfont St Giles.
