A man has been charged with several offences after an alleged late-night carjacking in Chalfont St Peter.
It is alleged that Tommy Coates, 24, of Bridge Road, Maidenhead, stole a vehicle and drove it down the A413 in the village at around 11.25pm on Wednesday, December 13, after which he was arrested.
The following day, Coates was charged with one count each of theft, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and driving whilst unfit through drugs.
He appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 15, and he was remanded in custody to await the next court hearing.
