A woman has been arrested after a crash on the M25, near Watford, this morning.
The collision happened around 8.30 am on September 27 between junctions 19 and 18 towards Heathrow, and it led to the complete closure of the road.
Pictures shared on social media showed multiple police cars, ambulances and fire engines at the scene.
Officers on the M25 shared an image of a battered silver car. The picture showed how the front of the car was completely wrecked.
Police tweeted this morning: “We are currently dealing with a serious collision M25 between Junctions 19 & 18. The road is completely blocked so avoid the area.”
Another tweet read: “Thankfully the driver involved has only suffered minor injuries however she failed both drink and drug preliminary tests roadside so is now under arrest.”
