Pinner Hill Golf Club celebrated their newly elected captain as part of an annual tradition.
On Saturday, September 23, captain Peter Atkinson sat down for an official lunch with 95 guests and past captains of the club.
He was also joined by his new vice-captain of the club, Colin Cobbing, who will now assist Peter with all his duties over the next 12 months.
In the afternoon, a nine-hole fun competition was played, followed by a prize-giving and musical evening dancing to a Beatles tribute band until late into the evening.
Peter nominated his club charity for the year as the Alzheimer’s Society and started his year as captain by raising £280 through a drive-in day at the club.
