CAN YOU HELP? Police appeal for information after JCB stolen in Bushey

Published on: 25th November 2020   |   By: Geraint Roberts   |   Category: Uncategorized

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the theft of a digger in Bushey.

The JCB was stolen from Bushey Hall Lane on the afternoon of Thursday, November 19.

PC Gerard Handscombe, from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This particular digger only travels at around 10mph so it is likely that anyone who was travelling behind it would have noticed.

“If you have a dash cam fitted to your vehicle and were driving in the Bushey area at around 5.20pm that afternoon, please review your footage and contact us if you believe you have captured anything of note.

“I would also be keen to hear from anyone else who may have information which could assist our enquiries.”

Anyone with information is asked to please email gerard.handscombe@herts.pnn.police.uk

You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in the Force Communications Room via the online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/93514/20.

Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org
