Several authors and celebrities will appear at events in Chorleywood next month.
First up is the Chorleywood Crime Panel on Tuesday, May 7, featuring three of the country’s bestselling crime authors. Helen Fields, Erin Kelly and Fiona Cummins will visit Chorleywood Library to discuss the world of criminal fiction.
Then comes journalist and author Clover Stroud, making her return to Chorleywood Bookshop on Thursday, May 9, where she will discuss her new book, The Giant on the Skyline.
Following her is high-profile Labour politician Wes Streeting MP. At Chorleywood Memorial Hall on Monday, May 13, he will discuss his candid memoir, One Boy, Two Bills and a Fry Up, about his hard-knock life growing up in poverty.
The next day, Tuesday, May 14, historian Giles Milton will visit Chorleywood Library to talk about The Stalin Affair. The book explores the Allies’ secret mission to Moscow, which helped them to win the Second World War.
Finally, bestselling author David Nicholls, author of the megahit One Day, will be carrying out signings of his highly anticipated new book, You Are Here, at Chorleywood Bookshop on Wednesday, May 22.
