The Under 8 coach at Rickmansworth Hockey Club is sharing his praise for the team’s youngest players.
Coach Narendra Arjan raved about the team, saying: “Come rain or frost, our U8s hit the field with unwavering determination.
“What’s noteworthy is the inclusion of our youngest members, as little as four years old, eagerly joining in each week with enthusiasm and a desire to contribute to the team.”
In fact, Coach Arjan has gone so far as to describe the young players not only as athletes but as “budding ambassadors of the sport” who exemplify “dedication, perseverance and love for hockey”.
The club is currently experiencing a wealth of success across its teams, which range from U8s to adult men’s and women’s teams.
Among their recent successes are the Ladies 1st team winning their last five games, meaning they are currently in first place in the East Women’s Division 6 South West.
