A young Taekwon-do student from Chorleywood has been crowned the British champion after triumphing in a recent competition.
Following on from the article in last month’s Chorleywood News about the success of students from Total TKD Chorleywood, a number of members have now achieved several more medals.
Chanelle, who runs Total TKD Chorleywood, took nine of her students to the ITF British Championships over the weekend of November 22 and 23. Showing off their skills and dedication, the young athletes came away with eight medals.
Louis Zaw, 11, who lives in Chorleywood, became the British champion after winning the gold in patterns and silver in sparring.
Sebastian Church Culverhouse, 12, from Croxley, also became the British champion after winning gold in special technique and silver in patterns.
Rex Miller from Chorleywood received a bronze in sparring; Jessica Morrison from Amersham received a bronze in patterns; Denis Muresan from Amersham received silver in sparring; and Joshua from Chorleywood received bronze in sparring.
