Radlett residents were invited to a taste of treasure in December as Phillies Café in Radlett hid twelve gold coins around the village, mainly in and around the High Street.
Anyone who finds a coin can exchange it for one of the café’s special Christmas drinks, available until Tuesday, December 23.
The business also celebrated its first birthday of many, which was published in RADLETTnews November, with 2025 marking its inaugural year in Radlett.
Owners say they are grateful for the community support that has helped them establish themselves and look forward to building on that momentum in 2026.
Plans for the new year include continuing art events run in partnership with CreARTive Events, providing opportunities for local artists to showcase their work.
The café is also involved with the newly formed Radlett Small Business Community, which will host meetups every six weeks, with the next event scheduled for January.
A spokesperson RADLETTnews said: “We are optimistic that the business will continue to go from strength to strength.”
