A singing sensation who brought Simon Cowell to tears on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) is coming to Radlett to perform. Becky O’Brien hit the headlines recently when her rendition of Over The Rainbow made Cowell cry and since BGT she has joined the country’s original and longest running Rat Pack show in a brand new production called The Rat Pack and Judy which will be performed in the village on June 19. She is thrilled to be joining David Alacey (Frank Sinatra) on stage once again in The Rat Pack and Judy, as well as having the opportunity to star as her all time idol, Judy. “Like Judy my life hasn’t always been easy” says Becky who was a victim of domestic abuse for many years, in a case which was covered in the national media during her time of BGT last year. She added: “But hopefully I have shown that with strength and determination you can overcome most things because although it sounds clichéd there is always something, somewhere of someone better over the rainbow.” The Rat Pack and Judy stars Beck O’Brien as Judy Garland, David Alacey (Lovejoy) as Frank Sinatra, Paul Drakeley (Inside Out) as Dean Martin and Des Coleman famed for his four years as Lenny in Eastenders as Sammy Davis Jnr. The show commences at 7.30pm at the Radlett Centre, for tickets visit www.radlettcentre.co.uk
