BREAKING: Woman passes away weeks after Radlett road collision

An elderly woman has sadly passed away following a road traffic collision in Radlett.

The incident occurred on Watling Street at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, June 27.

It is reported that a gold Vauxhall Grandland and a pedestrian were in collision on the southbound carriageway, near to Kitswell Way.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, she has since passed away. Her next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made.

Detective Sergeant Ben Heath, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this very difficult time.

“Our enquiries into this collision are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.

“Did you see what happened, or have any information that may help our enquiries? Additionally, if you were driving in the area and have a dashcam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded come crucial footage that could assist our investigation.”
