Planning permission has been granted for a new office and storage building in Watford Business Park.
The existing building located at Number 2 The Boulevard, Blackmoor Lane is not currently suitable to meet the needs of the growing business situated there. The proposed plans will increase floor space, with the building changing from one to three storeys, as well as provide additional car parking, cycle storage and landscaping.
Cllr Peter Jeffree, Chairman of the council’s Development Management Committee, said: “We have granted planning permission for the construction of a new office building, which will be a real benefit to Watford and its residents, encouraging the local economy to grow by creating new jobs. It also has the potential to support further investment in Watford Business Park.”
The new modern offices will greatly improve the way the site looks and also has the potential to attract further development in the area, leading to regeneration for Watford Business Park.
