National Rail announced at 9.21am today (Tuesday, May 14) that the Abbey Line is currently suspended at Watford North due to a car hitting a level crossing and damaging station barriers.
A rail replacement service has been ordered and the 321 Arriva bus will accept Abbey line tickets until the accident is remedied. Officers hope that by 11.30am today, the line will have reopened.
The Abbey Line is a London Northwestern service running between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey.
