Watford residents are invited to scale the equivalent height of the Empire State Building to raise money for charity.
Step Up for Health will take place on Saturday, June 1, and invites participants to run, walk or climb up and down the stands at Watford FC’s Vicarage Road Stadium.
Participants can set personal targets, compete with friends, or simply aim to complete the challenge. The money raised will go towards Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust and West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Charity.
Alison Rosen, the charity’s CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to team up with Watford FC Trust for this exciting challenge event. Together, we can make a real difference in supporting West Herts NHS and the local community.”
Karen Stephanou, the trust’s head of health and wellbeing, said: “With the partnerships with AMYA UK and West Herts Hospitals Charity, it promises to be another fantastic community event that will make a real difference to local lives.”
