A man has been charged in connection with a fire which occurred in Chipperfield near Kings Langley on Friday, August 1.
Emergency services were called at 12.36am following reports of a shed fire at an address on Nunfield. No-one was injured during the incident.
Neil Higgins, 49, of Nunfield, was charged with arson with intent to endanger life, arson, sexual assault and coercive control.
He was remanded into custody today at Hatfield remand court yesterday (August 2). His next appearance will be at St Albans Crown Court on September 2.
