After a morale boosting cup win against Enfield Town on Tuesday, Northwood would have been disappointed with today’s 4-0 hammering.
It was always going to be a tough game away against South Park FC who were unbeaten at home this season.
Both sides defended extremely well in the first quarter of the game but South Park made it 1-0 on the 31st minute.
A headed clearance by Northwood lacked distance but a shot from Hayden Skerry found the bottom corner.
One minute later and South Park made it 2-0 after coming straight from kick off.< South Park bossed the first half after their goals and did the same in the second. They made it 3-0 on the 60th minute after previously hitting the crossbar from a free kick on the 58th minute. A 92nd minute goal by Charlie Gee got South Park’s fourth and ended a disappointing afternoon for The Woods.
