The RAF Music Charitable Trust is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a UK-wide tour that will see world-class musicians taking over Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth.
Established by veteran Malcolm Goodman MBE in 2004, the RAF Music Charitable Trust stages concerts around the country to raise money for charities which provide support for veterans.
Musicians from the RAF Squadrons have most recently performed with stars ranging from Sir Tom Jones OBE to Sir Cliff Richard OBE. Over the past few years, the trust has raised more than £100,000.
Malcolm said: “It is with great pride that we are able to arrange this concert in Rickmansworth to enable local communities to experience the world-class musical talents of these RAF musicians.
“Despite all three former RAF musician charity trustees now being 70 years old, we remain as enthusiastic and dedicated to the charity’s cause as we have always been!”
The concert, which will feature professional musicians bringing to life the music of stage and screen, will take place at Watersmeet Theatre at 7.30pm on Friday, March 15. To find out more, visit www.watersmeet.co.uk/raf-bands
