Firefighters rushed to tackle a blaze at a derelict building in Watford this evening (Friday, March 18) near the Dome Roundabout.
Multiple fire engines attended the scene at the building next to Garston Fire Station. The event caused traffic delays around the area which have now cleared.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “Police were called by the fire service at just before 5.10pm on Friday, March 18, to advise they were attending the scene of a fire at a vacant building in St Albans Road, Watford, near the Dome roundabout.
“Officers attended to assist at the scene while the fire was extinguished. No one was reported to be injured during the incident and enquiries are continuing to establish the cause of the fire.”
Herts Fire Control confirmed that there were no people involved and no injuries.
