A team of young dancers from a Croxley-based dance academy achieved fantastic runner-up results at their first-ever competition.
An 11-girl team from Croxley Dance Academy (CDA) competed in the eMotion Dance Competition in early March, the group’s first major contest since it was rebranded in July 2020.
Competing against dancers from across the country, the young team impressed the judges with their moves and achieved three high-ranking runner-up results.
For their dances to Looped, Born Ready and Hit the Road Jack, they earned third, fourth and sixth place respectively, a phenomenal achievement for a first-time entrant.
CDA principal Scarlett Regan said: “I am beyond proud of what my students achieved at their first competition. It was an amazing experience which was made even better by some fabulous results.”
