A canine volunteer for the Watford Shopper Bus is getting the recognition he deserves after being shortlisted for a photography award.
Lucy from the Communities 1st communications team recently snapped this photo of volunteer Beau sitting in the driver seat in his hi-vis vest, on his way to pick up Watford’s locals as part of the Shopper Bus service.
A spokesperson for Communities 1st said: “Communities 1st is delighted to announce that a photograph of our canine volunteer Beau has been shortlisted for the British Photography Awards’ Mobile Photography Awards 2024!
“Beau is one of many canine volunteers. His main responsibilities include canine communications, pet project management and human relationship building. In his spare time, he loves to eat carrots and enjoys making new friends.”
Despite not being crowned the winner at the awards, Beau was still delighted to be shortlisted.
