Wealdstone have announced that defender Jerome Okimo and midfielder Danny Green have both signed new contracts that will keep them at The Vale until the end of the 2018/19 season.

Both players have been outstanding performers this season with adaptable Skipper Okimo having been inspirational in an unfamiliar midfield role earlier in the campaign and the rejuvenated Green having been instrumental in Stones progress in league and FA Trophy where he has scored 10 goals so far with a total of 13 in all competitions.

Wealdstone Manager Bobby Wilkinson said: “I am absolutely delighted that Jerome and Danny have committed to the club already for next season. They can see what we are building here at Wealdstone and our future ambitions, they are excellent players and have shown great loyalty and commitment to the cause”

In other player news, loanee Joseph Otudeko has permanently returned to Bristol Rovers and the club wishes to thank him for his efforts during his spell at The Vale. Ashleigh Artwell has gone to Southern League side Hartley Wintney but remains available for the FA Trophy.

Defender Taofiq Olomowewe has had his stay at Enfield Town extended but is on a 24-hour recall arrangement. Midfielder Stephane Ngamvoulou remains at Burgess Hill Town until March 9th

Accrington Stanley loanee Reagan Ogle has currently returned to his parent club but remains available for Buildbase FA Trophy action.

Young striker Dylan Kearney who made a substitute appearance for Wealdstone in their single goal victory over Welling United on Monday night remains dual registered at Uxbridge FC.
