Published on: 3rd October 2019   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Uncategorized

Shoppers were left horrified by a group of teens seemingly attacked staff at a Ruislip supermarket.

A group of youths terrorised the Aldi store in Victoria Retail Park at around 6pm on Monday, September 30, trying to smash their way through the entrance after the workers attempted to lock them out.

The group, which is believed to have contained a mix of boys and girls, used a fire extinguisher to shatter the entrance’s glass and it’s believed some of them were armed with poles and knuckledusters.

Footage filmed by Ross Scott showed Aldi staff having to take their belts off and fight off the group with them.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called on Monday, September 30 at approximately 6pm to reports of a disturbance and assault in Victoria Retail Park, Ruislip.

“There were reports of a group of youths assaulted members of staff at a supermarket, threw items and damaged property.

“Officers attended but all suspects had left the scene. No reports of serious injuries. Enquiries continue to identify and trace those involved.

“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact police in the West Area CU on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD5853/30Sep.

“Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
