Harrow residents are invited to visit this year’s Harrow Arts Society’s Summer 2024 exhibition.
This year’s exhibit will feature 150 original paintings, sculptures, prints, ceramics and greeting cards by local artists, both amateur and professional.
President of Harrow Art Society, Cheryl Gouls MRSS said: “I would like to express my enormous thanks to our very capable committee for organising this superb annual Spring exhibition, and to the tireless team of members who hung almost 200 works of art in less than one day.
“Thanks also to Councillor Jean Lammiman -Portfolio Holder for Culture and Community for her opening speech at our private view giving all Visual Artists hope for a much larger exhibition space in Harrow, so we can share our exciting talents to a much wider audience.
“With our wealth of talent and rapidly increasing membership, HAS desperately needs and deserves more space: We value the support from the team at HAC, but we are outgrowing the White Cube Gallery as wonderful as it is!”
The exhibit is free, and opens on May 4 until May 15. To find out more, head to https://harrowarts.com/whats-on/event/harrow-arts-society-summer-exhibition-1
