A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a drug driving offence in Watford and released while an investigation continues.
Police were called to reports of a car collision on Exchange Road, on Friday, June 24, shortly before 11pm. The collision involved a white Mercedes and a male pedestrian.
The pedestrian suffered a serious head injury and was taken by ambulance services to Watford General Hospital. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.
