A man was mugged in Apsley early this morning, Friday, March 17, after allegedly being threatened by another man.
Police believe the victim and the alleged robber were known to one another. The victim was not injured in the robbery.
In a statement, Hertfordshire Police said: “Police were called at around 1.40am on Friday, March 17, to report that a robbery had occurred in Apsley.
“It was reported that a man had been threatened by another man a short time beforehand and that money was taken.
“The victim was uninjured during the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened and the exact location of the offence. It is believed that the parties involved are known to each other.”
