A film firm has eyed up a Kings Langley farm for a temporary film set.
On Wednesday, April 23, Plum Jam Productions Ltd applied to Dacorum Borough Council to use Berrybushes Farm on Langleybury Lane for filmmaking between May 2025 and October 2026.
This will include the construction of temporary set pieces, storage, stationing of support services and parking.
The application outlines: “All works are fully reversible and temporary in nature, with the land being reinstated at the end of the temporary period, such that the use of the site for filming purposes will not have any lasting or unacceptable detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the site.”
Some residents have objected because of a potential increase in traffic and “ancient woodlands, farmland and homes that will be subject to noise”.
Another applicant shared: “The volume of traffic… for a prolonged 18-month period is a great disruption to our lives.”
The agent has been contacted for comment.
