Detectives investigating a burglary in Northwood are appealing for witnesses and information. The incident occurred between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday, October 14, at an address in Batchworth Lane whilst the occupants weren’t home. The offender(s) gained access to the property via a rear window. Money and a Breitling wristwatch were stolen. Detective Constable Paul Burton is investigating and said: “This incident occurred in a relatively small time frame and so I am urging anyone who was in the area between the stated times to think back and see if they remember something that stood out as unusual or suspicious. “If you have any information, however seemingly insignificant, please contact me as soon as possible as it could prove very useful to my investigation.” Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact DC Burton via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C3/15/1028. Alternatively, if you have any information about this incident, you can contact the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their Anonymous Online Form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
