Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in Watford yesterday (Sunday). At around 8.45pm a cyclist had been riding along the footpath with his dog on a lead on the A41 North Western Avenue when he went over the handlebars of his bike east of the junction with the A411 Hempstead Road. The cyclist, a 49 year old man from Kings Langley, was taken to hospital where he sadly died today (August 18th). Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened is asked to contact PC Dave Clarke via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101.
