Appeal after fatal road collision in Watford

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in Watford yesterday (Sunday). At around 8.45pm a cyclist had been riding along the footpath with his dog on a lead on the A41 North Western Avenue when he went over the handlebars of his bike east of the junction with the A411 Hempstead Road. The cyclist, a 49 year old man from Kings Langley, was taken to hospital where he sadly died today (August 18^th). Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened is asked to contact PC Dave Clarke via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101.
