Chorleywood Film Club is once again calling for local Quentin Tarantinos, Sofia Coppolas and Steven Spielbergs to take part in its annual filmmakers’ competition.
The Mini-Moviemakers & Young Filmmakers Competitions are open to children from Years 3 to 4, 5 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 13.
Entries must be between one to five minutes long and can be of any genre. From gory horror to rom com to fantasy, the judges want to see creative films that tell a story. All entries will be shown on the big screen at the Chorleywood War Memorial Hall on Saturday, March 22.
Filmmaker Eleanor Dolan said: “I am very excited to be launching our new 2025 competition! I cannot stress how much of an opportunity this is to meet industry professionals, have a mini movie/short film shown on the big screen and win prizes.
“As a filmmaker myself, I am very passionate about encouraging the younger generation as I would have loved an opportunity like this in my time at school.”
Entry closes at midnight on Sunday, March 2. Find out more www.shorturl.at/ClD5l
