Police are releasing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following an incident in St Albans.
A woman was reportedly inappropriately touched on Alban Way, near to Station Road, between 6.45am and 6.54am on Tuesday, March 11.
PC Ryan Coyle said: “We are releasing this image as the man pictured is believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident and may be able to assist with our enquiries.
“I understand that the image does not show the man’s face, but I am hoping the distinctive pink bag and tracksuit could be recognised.
“I’d also be interested in speaking to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, I believe there was at least one person walking nearby.
“If this is you or someone you know, please contact me by emailing ryan.coyle@herts.police.uk, quoting crime reference 41/23038/24.”
PC Coyle added: “This is a highly unusual incident in where the victim was inappropriately touched, which has left her understandably shaken. We need as much information as possible to help take our inquiries forward.”
