ALBAN CONNECTION: Musicians’ new album to raise money for St Albans homelessness charity

A group of local musicians known as The Alban Connection have collaborated to produce a fundraising album, with all proceeds going to a St Albans charity.

The inspiration for The Alban Connection came earlier this year when Nyther Silence & Lyrical Strangers vocalist Mark Anthony sought a way to raise awareness of homelessness in St Albans.

Mark has orchestrated the coming together of numerous artists to create the charity album, Hope, which was released on mainstream digital stores on December 9.

All money raised from sales of the album will be donated to St Albans Action for Homeless.

Emma Smith, PR manager for The Alban Connection, said: “Mark decided to name the album Hope to show victims of homelessness that they do have a future, they are loved, and they should not give up.”

Hope features a mixture of music styles and genres, including pop, rock, indie, rap, punk and ska, and can be purchased from Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
