Betsy Griffin, a nine-year-old from Chorleywood who is visually impaired due to an inoperable brain tumour, is continuing to spread her message of kindness and positivity.
Having recently published her book Out of the Woods: A Tale of Positivity, Kindness and Courage and won the mylocalHero 2022 award, Betsy has had a December full of exciting events and opportunities.
Viewers tuning into This Morning on Christmas Day were able to see a festive message of hope from Betsy, recorded earlier in the month at ITV’s studios.
She also had the opportunity to meet world-famous singer Sir Cliff Richard OBE, who was visiting the production studio at the same time.
Later in the month, Betsy opened Santa’s Flight School at Atria Watford, cutting the ribbon to open the shopping centre’s Christmas experience.
She even had the chance to show off her singing skills with choirmaster Gareth Malone as part of his Sing-Along-A-Gareth tour.
