44 CLUBS: Watford man takes on football challenge for MIND

Published on: 30th July 2020   |   By: Geraint Roberts   |   Category: Uncategorized

Chris Milligan, who has been a Watford resident all his life, and Matt Clewes of The Fry Up Podcast are embarking on a two-day challenge to visit all English football clubs in the Premier League and Championship by car.

The pair, who met at Solent University and lived together for three years, are in the process raising money for the mental health charity, Mind.

The pair have both had experiences with mental health in the past and believe it is a great way to raise awareness and funds with such a challenge.

Chris, who is an Arsenal supporter, said: “We are massive football fans and it is something that we have always wanted to do, and we are beyond happy to do it for Mind.

“As a charity, Mind and mental health is really important to Matt and I, with both of us having been through the effects of anxiety in the past.

“To think that both of us are where we are now trying to pursue our careers in the media industry would have been unimaginable.”

The fundraising has already surpassed £200, and their target is to reach £1,000 by the time they start.
