36 MONTHS: Hemel man jailed for sexual communication with a child

A man from Hemel Hempstead has been jailed for three years after being charged with three separate offences relating to a child.

Shared on the Predator Exposure Facebook page, it was reported that Barry Fowler had been sentenced at St Albans Crown Court in January.

Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed that Barry Fowler, 37, of Livingstone Walk, Hemel Hempstead, was sentenced at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday, January 14, to 36 months’ imprisonment.

He was charged with attempted sexual communication with a child, attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act, and attempting to cause or incite a child to engage in sexual activity.

A Sexual Harm Prevention Order has also been put in place.

The social media post from Predator Exposure concluded with: “Well done to Angel Decoy and thanks to Intervention OCPT for conducting the sting on our behalf also well done to Bullseye for tracking.”
